Artist Statement:
Through this project, I wanted to express the feelings that is what we lost due to COVID-19. We have a hard time not planning something amidst the anxiety that will end. The change in life pattern from not going to school leads to disconnection of communication. Through COVID-19 I realized that it was not a school to go to only for a special reason. School is the place to go to eat, to meet friends, to play, to talk, and to just stay.
In fact, the most important thing is that I realized the importance of my daily life, and it was also an opportunity to know the importance of my family. As the time with family increased due to social distancing, etc. We sometimes have troubles, but we were so grateful that we could be together.
As we can't go to school due to corona, we don't have enough opportunities to hang out with our peers, and we are also having problems with social and moral development. The reason I came to America was that I wanted to have various experiences as an international student. However, as my daily life became an all-stop, there were many changes in my mind. That’s why I chose the topic that the emotions we feel from COVID-19.
